Beta Confirms Gerston, Gutish and Tanke for 2019 Kenda Tennessee Knockout; A strong team of riders aiming for TKO podiums

Beta USA (@betausa) has confirmed that three of their team riders will be competing at the 2019 Kenda Tennessee Knockout. Max Gerston (@maxgerston) will be competing in the men’s pro class while Rachel Gutish (@rachel_gutfish) and Morgan Tanke (@mtanke31) will be competing in the Women’s class. The TKO has become the premier American Extreme Enduro and will serve as the AMA Grand Championship for Extreme Enduro competition. The ninth annual TKO will take place at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee on August 16-18.

Gerston is a longtime Beta USA factory rider that has won the AMA West Hare Scrambles championship to go along with several top finishes in EnduroCross and major Extreme Enduro events. His best TKO finish so far is a fourth place so he will be anxious to earn a podium finish in 2019.

Gutish has won the AOMC Women’s class at the TKO two times in the past in addition to multiple EnduroCross main event wins and is a regular top finisher in GNCC and other off-road events. She will be facing the largest Women’s field yet as there are already sixteen women entered for 2019.

Tanke has also been a longtime Beta team rider and has multiple EnduroCross main event wins to her credit along with a win at the 2017 TKO in the Women’s class. The Riverside, California native has proven her versatility with top finishes in several types of races.

Gerston, Ashburn & Teasdale confirmed; Beta bringing two Americans and a South African to take on 2018 TKO

Beta USA (@betausa) will have two of their American factory riders, Max Gerston (@maxgerston) and Jordan Ashburn (@jashburn7) on hand for the 2018 Kenda Tennessee Knockout and will also host South African, Travis Teasdale (@travisteasdale69). The eighth annual TKO will take place at the Trials Training Center, in Sequatchie, Tennessee on the weekend of August 18-19.

Max Gerston had a solid fourth-place finish at the 2017 TKO and wants to make the podium bad in 2018

Gerston is the defending AMA West Hare Scramble Champion and veteran top EnduroCross racer that won the Junior championship as he came up through the ranks. The Arizona native has the skills to compete at the front of the pack in just about any type of off-road motorcycle competition and will be a threat for a podium at the TKO. He just missed the podium with a fourth-place finish in 2017.

Jordan Ashburn will give the Tennessee fans someone to cheer for as he tries to put his Beta on the podium

Ashburn is a Tennessee native that is very familiar with the local terrain found at the Trials Training Center and was very impressive at the 2017 TKO, his first on the factory Beta. He overcame some challenges at the end of the race to finish a strong fifth. Ashburn’s primary focus is the GNCC and Full Gas Sprint Enduro series but as he proved last year, he can do well at Extreme Enduro events as well.

Teasdale, who is just twenty-one years old, is a regular on the World Extreme Enduro scene with several top finishes in many of the major events including a sixth-place finish at the 2018 Erzberg Rodeo. This will be his first time racing the TKO and he can be expected to be among the elite group challenging for the podium.

Beta USA riders confirmed for 2017 TKO; Gerston, Ashburn & Tanke aiming for podiums

Beta USA (@betausa) has built up a solid race team to showcase the Italian marque’s full range of bikes and they will have three of their factory backed riders competing at the 2017 Kenda Tennessee Knockout at the Trials Training Center on August 12-13. Max Gerston and Jordan Ashburn will be aiming for top finishes on Sunday while Morgan Tanke will be aiming to top the women’s class on Saturday and then see how far she can go against the pros on Sunday.

Max Gerston has multiple EnduroCross podium finishes to his credit and will be aiming to put his Beta on the podium at the Kenda Tennessee Knockout.

Max Gerston (@maxgerston) has competed in all six previous Kenda Tennessee Knockout events and always seems to have some kind of problem that takes him out of contention for top spots. The Arizona rider is a top EnduroCross racer that has the skills necessary to compete for a top TKO finish.

Tennessee’s Jordan Ashburn joined the Beta Factory team for 2017 and has had a great season. He will be aiming for a podium at the TKO.

Jordan Ashburn (@jashburn7) is a Tennessee native that has had some top ten finishes in the TKO in the past. He joined the Beta USA Factory team for 2017 and is having his best season in years taking wins in the popular Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro series and currently leading the points chase. He will have local support as he chases a top finish.

Morgan Tanke has been racing a Beta XTrainer with amazing results against the men in several tough off-road races. This will be her first attempt at the TKO.

Morgan Tanke (@mtanke31) has multiple EnduroCross Women’s main event wins on her resume so she certainly has the skills necessary to tackle tough obstacles. Tanke will be aiming for the Women’s win but don’t be surprised to see her make it through at least a few rounds on Sunday as well on her Beta XTrainer.

Beta USA’s Kyle Redmond and Max Gerston confirmed for 2016 Kenda Tennessee Knockout

Kyle Redmond (@kyleredmond777) and Max Gerston (@maxgerston) are two of the most talented off-road motorcycle riders around but often get overshadowed by some of the better known stars.

Both riders have stood on the podium at major races including AMA EnduroCross and they are now looking to make that last surge to challenge for wins. The Beta USA (@betausa) backed riders will be on hand this weekend at the Kenda Tennessee Knockout looking to step out of the shadows.

Max Gerston
Max Gerston’s friendly personality makes him a fan favorite and he is hungry for podiums.
Kyle Redmond
Kyle Redmond is soft spoken but often speaks loudly with his speed and skills on the track.

The sixth annual Kenda Tennessee Knockout will take place on Saturday, August 20th (amateurs) and Sunday, August 21st at the Trials Training Center located in Saquatchie, Tennessee. The world’s top off-road riders are invited directly to the Sunday program. Unqualified Expert/Pro and amateur riders race on Saturday with the top finishers earning the opportunity to move on to the Sunday Expert Knockout rounds. On Sunday, riders will compete in a very tough and spectator-friendly four-round Knockout racing format.

Beta USA’s Gerston, Redmond and Groemm confirmed for 2015 KENDA TKO

The Beta USA off-road team of Max Gerston, Kyle Redmond and Jesse Groemm will be competing in this weekend’s KENDA AMA Tennessee Knockout at the Trials Training Center. Despite the large field of World Class off-road racers, all three of the Beta riders are legitimate podium contenders.

Gerston finished fifth at the 2014 TKO and fourth the prior year. “The TKO is one of my favorite races of the year” said Gerston, a native of Phoenix, Arizona. “I like to challenge myself and the terrain is unlike anything we have out west. But I have been doing the hard work and I am ready for the heat and humidity so I think I am ready for a podium finish this year.”

Kyle Redmon

Redmond has proven to be one of the most talented off-road motorcycle riders in the world and has a few podium finishes at major events, including GEICO AMA EnduroCross. The first-year Beta factory rider always seems to be on the verge of breaking through and will be looking to make that happen at the TKO.

Jesse Groemm

Groemm finished second in the 2014 KENDA AMA National Enduro championship to earn a Factory Beta ride for 2015. An injury early in the season kept him off the bike for several months but he is now back on track as evidenced by a podium finish at the most recent round in Texas just a few weeks back. Groemm could be a dark horse for a podium spot in Tennessee.

The UK’s Jonny Walker, multi-time winner of the Erzberg Rodeo and Romaniacs events, has confirmed that he will be competing at the TKO for the first time. He will be facing off against Gerston, Redmond and Groemm as well as a long list of top North American based riders including: Cody Webb, Taylor Robert, Mike Brown, Colton Haaker, Grant Baylor, Steward Baylor, Ty Tremaine, Cory Graffunder, Daniel Milner, Ricky Russell, Wally Palmer and Jordan Ashburn.
