2017 KENDA Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro schedule confirmed; amateur entries open on Dec 1st

The Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee will host the seventh annual KENDA Tennessee Knockout on the weekend of August 12-13, 2017. The event has become one of the premier off-road motorcycle races in the United States, attracting some of the best racers from around the world.

American Cody Webb has proven to be the dominant rider at the TKO winning the last four years after taking second the first two years of the event. Webb has faced stiff competition from international riders the past two years. In 2015, Webb outdueled the UK’s Jonny Walker, recognized as one of the best Extreme Enduro racers in the world, to take the win. And in 2016, Webb took the win over South Africa’s Wade Young, who has also won some of the best known Extreme races in the world.

Webb will be back on his FMF KTM looking to make it five in a row. The top off-road racers from around the world will be invited to compete and amateur riders can race on Saturday with the top finishers earning the opportunity to move on to the Sunday Expert Knockout rounds. On Sunday, the riders will compete in a very tough and spectator friendly multi round format.

The expert riders will again be competing for a $10,000 purse.

Amateur registration opens at Noon CST on Thursday, December 1, 2016. There are just 180 spots available and entries sold out in less than a day for the 2016 event so please plan to get your entry in as soon as it opens. Click here to register on Dec. 1 at noon or thereafter.

Round 1 of 2016 EnduroCross follows TKO in nearby GA; amateur riders welcome to compete

The 2016 EnduroCross series begins in Duluth, GA on Aug. 27, the week after the TKO. It’s only 2.5 hours from the site of the TKO, the Trials Training Center.

If you want to tackle an EnduroCross course yourself, there are classes for Amateur, Vet, Women and TrialCross riders. All of those support class main events run as part of the night show so it is your chance to compete in front of a large crowd.

Pre-qualified riders confirmed for 2016 KENDA Tennessee Knockout

The sixth annual KENDA AMA Tennessee Knockout, presented by Moose Racing and SRT, will take place on August 20-21, 2016. KTM’s Cody Webb (@codywebb2) won an epic battle with the UK’s Jonny Walker (jonnywalker_22) to take the 2015 TKO title. Webb will face stiff competition for the 2016 event as a huge list of the top off-road racers from around the world have vowed to challenge Webb for the largest piece of the $10,000 purse.

The KENDA AMA Tennessee Knockout uses a unique four-round Knockout race format that is challenging for the riders and entertaining for the fans. The amazing Trials Training Center facility allows for easy access to the race action.

The top five finishers at the previous TKO events have included riders from EnduroCross, Trials, National Enduro, GNCC, WORCS and even the Enduro World Championship. So it is a great mix of backgrounds facing off on an extremely challenging course with a large purse on the line.

Pre-qualified riders get a free entry into the Sunday program. These riders earn an invite based top results in several major US or International off-road motorcycle race events. On Saturday, those riders that did not already earn an invite can challenge themselves on the course with the top finishers earning their own invite to the Sunday Knockout rounds.

Graham Jarvis to offer his G-force Technical Riding Academy immediately after the 2016 TKO

Graham Jarvis, the 2013 King of Extreme Enduro, will be hosting his G-force Technical Riding Academy in August at the Trials Training Center (TTC) in the four days immediately following the 2016 Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro (TKO).

Cameras and video will be allowed. And Graham will sign autographs.

2016 KENDA Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro Schedule Confirmed

The Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tennessee will host the sixth annual KENDA Tennessee Knockout on the weekend of August 20–21, 2016. The event has become one of the premier off-road motorcycle races in the United States, attracting some of the best racers from around the world.

Tennessee’s Mike Brown won the first two KENDA Tennessee Knockout events and California’s Cody Webb took the title in 2013, 2014 and 2015. In 2015, Webb had an epic battle with Great Britain’s Jonny Walker to take the win. Walker is arguably the world’s best Extreme Enduro racer so it was a big win for Webb. Walker said that he enjoyed the challenge and vowed to be back with his Red Bull KTM to take on Webb again in 2016. You can expect that these two riders will be joined by a large group of top off-road racers looking to conquer the tough conditions at the TKO.

The 2016 event will take place just one week prior to the AMA EnduroCross event in nearby Atlanta. So it is expected that more of the top EnduroCross riders from the west will be able to make the long trip to the east coast to compete in both events. The expert riders will again be competing for a $10,000 purse.

Beta USA’s Gerston, Redmond and Groemm confirmed for 2015 KENDA TKO

The Beta USA off-road team of Max Gerston, Kyle Redmond and Jesse Groemm will be competing in this weekend’s KENDA AMA Tennessee Knockout at the Trials Training Center. Despite the large field of World Class off-road racers, all three of the Beta riders are legitimate podium contenders.

Gerston finished fifth at the 2014 TKO and fourth the prior year. “The TKO is one of my favorite races of the year” said Gerston, a native of Phoenix, Arizona. “I like to challenge myself and the terrain is unlike anything we have out west. But I have been doing the hard work and I am ready for the heat and humidity so I think I am ready for a podium finish this year.”

Redmond has proven to be one of the most talented off-road motorcycle riders in the world and has a few podium finishes at major events, including GEICO AMA EnduroCross. The first-year Beta factory rider always seems to be on the verge of breaking through and will be looking to make that happen at the TKO.

Groemm finished second in the 2014 KENDA AMA National Enduro championship to earn a Factory Beta ride for 2015. An injury early in the season kept him off the bike for several months but he is now back on track as evidenced by a podium finish at the most recent round in Texas just a few weeks back. Groemm could be a dark horse for a podium spot in Tennessee.

The UK’s Jonny Walker, multi-time winner of the Erzberg Rodeo and Romaniacs events, has confirmed that he will be competing at the TKO for the first time. He will be facing off against Gerston, Redmond and Groemm as well as a long list of top North American based riders including: Cody Webb, Taylor Robert, Mike Brown, Colton Haaker, Grant Baylor, Steward Baylor, Ty Tremaine, Cory Graffunder, Daniel Milner, Ricky Russell, Wally Palmer and Jordan Ashburn.

The 5th Annual 2015 Kenda Tennessee Knockout Extreme Enduro (TKO) is next weekend here at the TTC.   The Amateurs race on Saturday to see who gets to join the Pros on Sunday.
